Our class team
Our Year 5 class is 5DM, taught by Deborah Malemba.
PE days
Year 5 have PE on Monday and Thursday.
Homework and reading
Homework is set every Friday and is due back the following Wednesday.
- Reading: children take home two books – one their teacher has helped them choose at the right level, and one of their choice.
- Maths: a practice sheet linked to that week’s teaching.
- Spelling: a short list of spellings to learn, tested the following week.
Reading with your child every day, or at least three or four times a week, makes the biggest difference. See our Home Learning Policy (PDF) for more information.
