Our class team
Our Year 1 class is 1HH, taught by Holly Hambly.
PE days
Year 1 have PE on Wednesday and Thursday.
Homework and reading
Homework is set every Friday and is due back the following Wednesday.
- Reading: children take home three books – one they have read in their Read Write Inc. Phonics lessons that week, one matched to their phonics level and one of their choice.
- Maths: a practice sheet linked to that week’s teaching.
Reading with your child every day, or at least three or four times a week, makes the biggest difference. See our Home Learning Policy (PDF) for more information.
